Moving the Switches between Groups

You can move the switches within any group or sub-group in the system hierarchy to manage it.

1. From the left pane, select Switches.
   The ICX Switches page appears.
2. From the ICX Switches page, select the switch that you want to move and click Move.
   The Select Destination Switch Group page appears. It displays the system hierarchy from which you can select the group under which you want to move the switch.

Approval of Switches

• Switches which are not registered through Registration Rules are moved under the Default Group.
• If Registration Rules are not present, the switch is moved to System Domain.
• These switches are not approved in the System Domain and are in the offline state.
• To approve the switch, you must manually move it from System, to another domain or subgroup, or ensure that registration rule matches.

3. Select the destination group and Click OK
   A confirmation message appears
4. Click Yes. The switch is moved to the destination location.
