Creating a DNS Server Profile

By creating a DNS server profile, you can specify the primary and secondary address of the DNS server that will be used to transmit data packets to the DNS server.

  1. Go to Services & Profiles > Access Control.
  2. Select the DNS Servers tab, and then select the zone for which you want to create the profile.
  3. Click Create.
    The Create DNS Server Profile page appears.

  4. Configure the following:
    1. Name: Type a name for the DNS server profile.
    2. Description: Type a short description for profile.
    3. Primary DNS IP: Type the primary DNS IP address.
    4. Secondary DNS IP: Type the secondary DNS IP address.
    5. Click OK.

You have created the DNS Server Profile.

NOTE
You can also edit, clone and delete the profile by selecting the options Configure, Clone and Delete respectively, from the DNS Servers tab.
