Removing an active controller from a powered stack

To remove an active controller from a powered stack, disconnect the active controller. The standby controller waits for 30 seconds and then assumes the role of active controller. If hitless failover is enabled on the stack, the standby controller takes over immediately. A single active controller device functions as a standalone unit even if it is still stacking-enabled. You do not have to issue a stack unconfigure me command for an active controller.
